Brentford manager Thomas Frank encourages England manager Gareth Southgate Let’s look back at Ivan Toney and open the doors to the Three Lions.

Toney, who had just been released from an eight-month ban for gambling, returned to Brentford in mid-January, having scored three goals in four games until there was a call from Frank to return to the England team at a crucial time. Prepare the team before competing in Euro 2024.

“I know what Ivan can bring to the team. And I think that’s something different that the England team doesn’t have.”

“He played the game well. Not a big game But what strikers want is to score goals. He scored again when he had to. And he played despite being sick. He was sick Thursday, Friday and today.”

“It shows everything about his mentality. He is unique Always committed to the team, to the club and to his teammates.”

“Who knows what will happen in the summer? What Ivan does so well is stay present, here and always available. That’s what he’s focused on.” ยูฟ่าเบท

Toney has already played one game for England, a game against Ukraine in March last year.

The striker scored his third goal in four games since returning from his eight-month ban for breaching betting rules in Saturday’s 2-0 win at Wolves.

Christian Norgaard’s first-half header put the Bees on course for their first Premier League away win since October, moving them up to 14th.

This week, Frank said Toney – who has one cap – is likely to be sold in the summer but he also feels his star man deserves another chance with England ahead of Euro 2024.
